Taylor Landscape and Design is founded and owned by myself Paul Gerrard Taylor.
Having over 10 years experience working in different sectors within the horticulture industry, I offer a bespoke service and knowledge base to transform any space.
In my first two years I studied at Moreton Morrell College, gaining a National Diploma in horticulture. While at the college I learnt many skills, including a wide knowledge of plants.
Ithen went on to work for a very well renowned company in the Warwickshire area for the later 8 years. It is there where I learnt most of my hard and soft landscaping skills. While working for the company I was involved in creating many bespoke outdoor living spaces - winning a BALI award which is one of the most prestigious awards within the landscaping industry. I quickly progressed and within a couple of years I was promoted to foreman and running my own sites. After 8 years it seemed a natural progression to step out on my own and start my own successful company and so Taylor Landscape and Design was born.
With 10 years experience, Taylor Landscape and Design offer everything from designing and constructing your garden,to smaller jobs including fencing, paving and general maintenance, including specialist maintenance (i.e. ponds, tree work and plant advice). We offer a bespoke service.
Taylor Landscape and Design can offer the following bespoke services:
A free garden survey and professional advice on what we think you should do with your space.
From here you could go with a design which will help you as the client visualise what we are going to do. We offer anything from a basic hand drawn plan right up to a 3D model showing you an in-depth view of what your garden will look like when we are finished.
From the design we then will create your space. We will strip the area right down to a blank canvas and from here start the build. From patios and decks of all shapes and sizes, to water features fencing, planting areas, outdoor lighting etc.
From your general weeding, pruning and a good old tidy or you just wanted a fence panel repaired or your patio re-pointed and pressure washed. To more specialist work including water features irrigation systems, topiary and seasonal pruning of shrubs and trees.
"Recently I down-sized and moved into house with a much smaller garden and I was keen to enjoy the greater convenience of this but at the same time transform it into an interesting and appealing place to spend my leisure time.
Taylor Landscape and Design have just completed a project that has successfully achieved this and I am delighted with the result. It has been completed on time and with the minimum of disruption to myself which was important given my business is home based.
I recommend this organisation (and have already done so) without any reservations and will use them again if ever I require additional work."
David Greenwell, Mickleton.
“Paul Taylor Landscape Design offers the highest quality of craftsmanship and professional enthusiasm. Paul’s attention to detail and desire for quality resulted in an end result that exceeded my own expectations. The knowledge that he has gathered from experience is profound. This is reflected in his skill of sourcing materials that keep within the theme of the house. To complete the overall experience his punctuality makes him a trustworthy craftsman.”
Gaenor Pettinger, Warstock.
"We would like to say that we were extremely satisfied with the work you undertook to the garden at Pipers Corner. It is always a concern when you employ somebody, but are not actually there, particularly as we are such a long distance away. We felt quite happy that the work was done efficiently and honestly and within the time that was required. There was a lot to do, but it all looked very neat and tidy after you had finished. The neighbours reported how hard you had worked and were also very pleased with the end result."
Thank you very much and best wishes for a happy new year.
Val Southam, Stratford-upon-Avon.
"To whom it may concern
I recently commissioned Phil Perry to create a fabulous front garden for me
The designs were drawn up and approved and he recommended that we use Taylor Landscape and Design to physically create the piece...he said he used them a lot and he said their work was of the highest standard. As I do not know any garden landscape people in the area I went with Phil's suggestion
and I am so glad that I did.....Paul turned up on day one with his trusty assistant...didn't even have a cup of tea...they were both straight on with the job in hand....the design to me looked quite a simple one but I had no idea just how much work was involved
The boys worked tirelessly in the hottest 10 days of the summer.....never moaning never stopping just carrying on with the task like Trojans.....they were polite and funny and a joy to have around
But more importantly the standard of work was second to none...if they came across a problem they would inform me of it and then the solution to fix it.....the precision with which they created my garden was just amazing...they didn't have the easiest of blank canvas's either....a sloping lop sided garden with the shallowest but thickest clay soil.....normally I'm sure wouldn't be a problem but the design of the garden was very formal and in some ways regimented and if anything had been out of line it could have ruined the whole concept
What I also loved is the fact that Paul is not a mere labourer...he is a plant specialist too so could advise me on plants and what would happen to them and when to look out for them
If anyone were to ask me to recommend a landscape gardener I would have no qualms in telling them they would be mad NOT to employ him....the work was skilfully executed with the minimum of mess and another thing that impressed me was their timing......he said it would be finished by 1pm on the Thursday and even with a couple of delivery hiccups and a couple of minor design altercations the garden was finished in plenty of time
Its a shame I don't have several gardens because if I did Paul would be booked to do each and every one of them...and believe me I am difficult to please and praise does not come along easily from me
I highly recommend Paul and his team and I thank them for creating such an amazing garden for me"
