Replace French doors with window

Me personally I have been using
It is a new website where you can post your job and builders can quote via reverse auction...
Lets seen, the window in about £200 to £350, brickwork, Plastering, insulation around £150 all in... so £500... £600 left for 2 to 3 days work... I would say not bad... May ask to sell the double doors for the builder to make a little more money. Not bad but could be better...

Plumber in Peterborough

I had the same problem with gas safe engineers, you keep on ringing them and it looks like they don't want the work... I needed my boiler serviced I made a few calls and i found the site
I posted the job online and I had a few traders reverse bidding on it, the price went down from £100 to £60. He came did the job, paid, gave feedback and that was it really...
I think it is fantastic... Don't need to keep on calling, leaving messages, making booking which some of them didn't even bother to say why they didn't turned up...

Use of Home Insurance protection

Yes you would need to have someone which is qualified and covered under an insurance. I have been using the website to post the jobs around the house, this is only a matter to post your job and they will get the best approved traders to reverse bid on your job.
The insurance the site uses covers:
Bathrooms, Bedrooms, Boiler Heating Systems, Car Ports, Cladding, Conservatories, Double Glazed Doors, Double Glazed Windows, Fascias, Garage Conversions, Garage Doors, Kitchens, Loft Conversions, Roofing, Roofline, Solar Systems, Wooden Outbuildings.
Hope this helps... Good luck
